Live music by Eric Kinsey, snacks, ceramics and photography for sale. All ages and free!! Music starts at 7pm.
I hope that everyone is able to enjoy this holiday season to its fullest. The studio will be closed, and classes will resume on January 4th.
We will have a few vendors selling homegade gifts for the Holiday Season, and….The Lilly Boys & Girls Club will have an art opening showcasing student work. Shop Local, and support our community arts programs!
I know, I know, it’s not even Halloween, but the ceramics process takes some time….3-4 weeks, in fact. Register for a class by Nov. 18th, in order to guarantee completion by the end of December. Gifts made by hand are filled with extra love.
There are no classes scheduled in the studio until October 19th. I will, however, have special hours for those wanting to pick up their work as follows…
Thursday October 8th: 4:30pm-6:30pm
Tuesday October 13th: 4:30pm-6:30pm
Thursday October 15th: 4:30pm-6:30pm
If there is any Friday to stop by the gallery, it’s this upcoming one. Paige of Velvet Ruins Jewelry, and Nate of Brainvault Illustration, have joined forces to showcase both independent and collaborative work.
Tomorrow night will be a fantastic display of art and music in our fine city. Come out, and experience for yourself what makes Indianapolis unique. The studio will be open from 6pm-10pm.
Please note that I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. I have many students that register for class and fail to show up, with no notice at all. I understand that life happens, and things come up beyond your control. Please be considerate, and call if you need to cancel your registration. You may be prohibited from future class registration if you fail to give 24 hour notification.
There’s lots going on in The Murphy Art Center this Friday. We’ll have guest artist Cara Johnson-Hirsch’s debut of multi-media works to house your outdoor plants and flowers, as well as our typical array of ceramics for sale. Please stop by to check it out and say hello!
Our guest artists in the gallery this month are the HL Harshman Middle School Art Club. HL Harshman, aka IPS #101, is the 7th and 8th grade STEAM and World Language magnet for the Indianapolis Public School system. For those unfamiliar, STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. Please join us to celebrate the hard work of these young students. Snacks will be provided for guests.
